Cocoon Module Shipping Container Home

Greek construction company, Cocoon Modules, recently debuted this gorgeous shipping container home. The project is a joint effort with Greek mattress brand, Coco-Mat, to bring attention to eco-friendly living alternatives.

According to Cocoon Modules, one of their container homes is 15% less in cost than a pre-fab home and 30% less than the average traditional home in Greece. The home features timber siding on the sides and back of the home, with a large sliding glass door on the front and a living roof. Inside is a bright, open-concept living room, dining room, and kitchen. Also included is a bathroom, sleeping area, storage, and furniture built from eco-friendly materials. Coco-Mat also provided cushions and seating to add extra comfort to the home.
