Desolation Sound Modular Off-Grid Cabin

The Desolation Sound tiny home is a custom and unique home. Designed by West Coast Outbuildings, it was built to the specifications of the client, the house had to be transported in sections to its remote location.

Designed to look like a book, the tiny home’s exterior walls were made of corrugated steel. However, the glass doors lining the front of the house soften the look while also letting an abundance of natural light enter the home.

When you walk through the glass doors in the center of the house, you will find yourself surrounded by a lot of open space. Along the wall opposite the doors, you will see the kitchen. This space is furnished with a full-sized refrigerator/freezer, 4-burner range and oven, deep sink, gray countertops and white cabinetry. The wall space to the right of the kitchen has a hidden fold-down bed within it.

Towards the back of the house is the luxury bathroom featuring a large walk-in shower, mirror, white vanity and toilet.
