East Austin Tiny House
A client initially approached Rocky Mountain to create a tiny house that she could use as a vacation property rental in Austin, Texas. Her idea for the home was something with a unique design that would fit within her budget.
The result was a tiny house, built onto a 12 ft single axle trailer, with a "steampunk" design. Throughout the space, Rocky Mountain incorporated pipe fixtures, steampunk lighting, a barn wood sliding door, and live-edge touches to create the right look.
One of the most eye-catching elements inside the home is a hanging sofa that the owner picked out and bought on Etsy (listing here). The sofa's suspension allows visitors to the home to store their luggage underneath it, which is a handy space-saver in such a small area.
You can read some more about this tiny house's design process here on Rocky Mountain's website!
